The theme is evident on the surface: the fragile state of being when one is
bound and suspended, provided with only an illusion of modesty; a dress that is essentially layers of binding chains, almost a cage. The exposed feeling of the body complements my own blindfolded state as I embellish the face of the model. Eventually, the face, surrounded by flowering blossoms and painted with a floral motif to conveys how this frightening vulnerability on both sides becomes a gateway to creating something beautiful.
